I'm looking for a adoption advice group where I can speak to people face to face (or online) about adoption. I'm in a same sex couple. We want to fully explore the possibility before committing to this option of parenting. We are based in London.

Do your Local Authority run Adoption Support groups?

Ours do, and they welcome prospective adopters too. Ours are run as a coffee morning type thing with a few social workers milling around and activities laid out for any children that are brought along (usually with support workers to supervise so the adults get a chance to talk).

Adoption UK are brilliant, they have zoom meetings for prospective adopters and do community facetoface ones too.
