How do you keep/store contact letters?

Just that really.

I have kept all of the letters we have sent to DD’s birth family in a presentation folder and later when we started receiving them back I have slotted them in between so it’s like a journal built up over time. The gaps where we haven’t got a response are sad and I wondered if there was a better way to do it?

Sibling letterbox has been much more haphazard and gifts/cards/photos and pictures have been given and enjoyed as they arrived but I’m hoping that they’ll be copied and in a box somewhere at the contact team if DD would like them in a more organised chronological way!

In a lever arch file in plastic pockets, filed in reverse chronological order.
Functional not beautiful.

I do all my chronologically in a file, alternating our letter with theirs. If I don't get a letter back, I acknowledge that in the next one and file them side by side. I feel the story reads better in date order, especially as sometimes I include specific questions my child wants to know.
