Fatima Whitbread won a special sporting achievement award this week.
I was already aware of her story as a child who grew up in care but reading her story again reminded me of just how resilient our children are.
Now I know that most of us don't have future Olympic champions lurking in our midst, but I think it helps to remind is that our children can achieve and the diffetence that we as adopters and foster carers make.
