So from tomorrow we will be a family of 3 when our foster child moves in.
He has been visiting us for the last month and its time to take the plunge. There will be many challenges ahead but underneath it he is a real sweetheart who just wants and needs a mum.
Big boy meanwhile has bought his first car and is simply just happy with life.

Sadly his younger brother is having a lot of difficulties and I fear for his future. We tried for so long and it is very hard to accept that he seems beyond our help. He refuses to see us, we can only hope that one day he will turn to us.

But tomorrow is a happy day, a new start for us all, but especially my new wee man

Well we have had a very up and down day and a heartbreaking evening.
He is calm now but sobbed his heart out for 2 hours. He looks shattered bless him.

so we are a month in and like all new placements, its hard work !!!

I see a very traumatised little boy who desparately wants love and to be part of a family but has no idea how to live in one. As a result he is very controlling and quite volatile.
we have had our ‘moments’ but also some lovely times down on the allotment and on holiday in Wales last week.
its very early days, we are finding our feet.
