Independent visitor for child in care - reading

Hello

I'm currently going through the interview and training process to be an independent visitor for a child in care. The suggestion is that I'd be best with a 14+ child.

Obviously the commitment is very different to adoption, but I wondered if anyone has any book recommendations that they've read for older adoptees that would help?
