4 year old's obsession

Hi, I don't think it's adoption related but my 4 year old boy is obsessed with the differences with boys and girls. Just wondering if anybody else has been through this and how long it lasted? It's just so embarrassing when out and about: someone passes us "who's that?" "It's a man" "he got a willy?" "Yes he's got a willy" "why?" "Because he's a man". "I've got a willy" "yes" "why" "because you're boy" "you got a vagina?" And so on and so on about twenty times a day. Just hoping it's a developmental stage that will be over soon 😬🤞

Yeah, sounds pretty normal at that age. Not particularly 20 times a day but I don't think it's terribly unusual.

Oh yes we are very interested in boys and girls over here! He is 4 very soon. Vaginas, penises, bums. Lots of questions about can boys do XYZ, can girls do ABC. Just working out the world I think!

Yep, sounds normal. We've been through it. Now, my 5 year old is currently in a stage of girls are better/boys are stupid or boys are better/girls are stupid depending on who he has spoken to at school or his whim on the day!
