Sat in the car. Dreading pick up. Just don't want to know how many have been physically hurt or called names or treated unkindly. I understand all the reasons. School are amazing. When people tell you adoption is hard this is why. Today it's too much

Sending support. I know that heart sinking feeling as you approach school.

Sending you hugs, know how you feel about the time x

Ah yes, pick up can be very hard when your child is struggling. For me it was my DD being bullied, heartbreaking to hear how hard school can be for them knowing you need to send them regardless.

I hope your little one has had a good day without incident or dysregulation.

If you want help here not just sympathy (you may not):

Are the school blaming you or generally supportive?
Do they make adjustments for your DC?
Do they use the PPP money appropriately to help?
Are issues such that they would qualify for an EHCP?

School are amazing. I can't stress that enough. This is a school that assesses what support their kids need and provides it straight away. Then the Head worries about funding. She has a 1:1 every minute. They welcome professional visits and take on everything that's said and implement it. Actually they're awesome. And they're kind and supportive.
Sometimes I just crumple when she's hurt others.
