Half term

I thought we could have a half term thread, just in case anyone needed a hand hold or wanted to share any wins.

I am dreading it as it makes my son very dysregulated no matter how much prep we do.

Currently, we are at a soft play and my two 4 and 6 are actually getting along well and having fun. Feels like a massive win and it's the first ever time we've come to soft play and I've been able to sit on my own. I'm gripping tightly to this moment!

I'm happy for your massive win! We've started potty training this week, which is...well...messy to say the least! He's definitely starting to get the idea though!

Thought I'd join in.
Yesterday we collected 2 Guinea pigs who are now installed in a spare bedroom. DD is recovering from the last 7 weeks and then will have zoom tutoring for English resit.
Gone are the days of soft play. Enjoy soft play and Halloween trails while you can.

DS has just finished his first half term in F1. Think it’s taken him the weekend to recover! We’ve had a lot of illness over the last 7 weeks and he’s so tired so that’s making tea time/bed time quite tearful!
This is our first Halloween doing anything so we have some pumpkin carving, a party, a play date and a day with Nanny and Grandad coming up for the rest of the week!
