I just love what my dear adopted daughter said at brownies
She is 9 and I've just started helping out .I walk round offering help and when I get to Dd table she asks me to sit down which I do .
The activity involves knowing your address and writing it . The brownies are chatting , some know their address some have no clue .
brownie asked for help finding her address and I said I would find out .
My Dd said " mum do I live at 152 ? " I replied yes.
Brownie said " wait how did you know her address so quickly?"
I replied because (s) is my daughter
" oh but she doesn't look like you "
My Dd replied " it's because I'm adopted "
Brownie " what ? Really ?"
Alll other brownies then start looking interested " is that true ? " they ask
Yes says my DD then she says this laughing
" I adopted her at 11 months "
She adopted me ? Honestly her humour kills me . We were laughing so much it was such a lovely moment .
