Teddies …

Ok, possibly a bit of a niche one!
LO (3) has about 14 billion teddies. There’s 3 main groups:

• Special ones they sleep with


• Special ones from birth family (first Christmas/birthday/birth name/birth mum’s voice in) all in a memory box in the loft


• The others. In a random box, never played with but not bought by us.

honestly have no clue what to do but they take up so much space!! Ideas?

Take photos and make a memory book, clean and dry thoroughly then vacuum pack for easier storage?

I bought a bean bag cover and out all the non-special ones in there - my DD often uses it when she’s reading/playing, they’re out of sight and useful.

My son is 17, we still have all his teddies 45 of them, He no longer sleeps with any of them but won’t part with them yet.
Yes they take up space but they are important to him even now

A few I gave him may have migrated to my room……….

Love the vac pack and bean bag ideas! We definitely don’t want to throw them. They’re only 3 and we don’t know what’s going to be special when they’re older! Just desperate to try maximise space in the bedroom so they can play!

Could you get one of those hammock things where they could be displayed somewhere (perhaps underneath a book shelf higher level than his bed?) So that they are on show and orderly but not necessarily spilling out everywhere? Tricky I know when kids have certain things they are obsessed with! I am overrun by 100s of cheap plastic dinosaurs!!!

We ended up getting a bunk bed for our youngest, he has one bunk and his gazillion teddies have the other!
