It was a hard process, and, sadly our placement of a darling boy who is now 10 broke down after a couple if months.

I don't regret that we tried, but am bereft about the outcome.

I’m not sure what you’re asking. Depending on where folk are in the process, and where they are in subsequent family life, there will be different answers to your question. Can you tell us a bit more about what you’re asking and why? Otherwise people could share quite personal feelings that aren’t relevant to your own situation.

@topcat2014 I remember reading bits of your story when I was obsessively reading all the threads trying to decide whether to pursue adoption. I'm so sorry things didn't work out.
