How long is the delay if you can’t do the first prep group date offered

We can’t do the first set prep group dates offered as we had less than a month’s notice and one of our workplaces has refused one of the days of leave. How long might the delay be in getting on to the next prep group? I’m scared we’re talking months and months.

Just have a chat with your social worker. It could be different between agencies. It seems to be monthly for ours

It will be different for every agency/area. We were offered one with a weeks notice which we couldn't do but the next inevitable was 3 weeks later

As others have said, def speak with your social worker. Our agency offered prep quarterly, sometimes less. We didn't think we could make the date offered initially as, like you, it was very short notice, and were then told that there was a waiting list for the next one already. Thankfully, we managed to get to the one we had been invited to in the end. -- Not to worry you, just to say that things really do vary between agencies - and that most try to be as accommodating as they can if you speak to them. 🙂

Ours is monthly, we were meant to have our last week but caught covid so our next is beginning of March!
