Mums historic drink driving ban

Hey Team, am adopting and about to do interview etc. Will my mums drink driving ban from 10 years ago be an issue? She will be a part of the child's life (not live in but visits etc.) but is now recovered etc.

How would they even find out?
They don’t do DBS checks on the grandparents.

If you mentioned it - can’t believe they would blink much of an eye.

I don't see why this would come in to conversation to be honest, unless this is a part of a bigger picture of alcoholism that you have raised and discussed with your social worker.

I wouldn't mention it.
SS can grab onto anything and make it a bigger issue than it is and the more you try and defend yourself the worse it looks.
I've learnt to keep non-issues like this to myself.
