We are looking to adopt a child from India to UK and we wanted to check if anyone has gone through this process? If yes, please can you briefly share the process and any links to useful websites.

no direct experience. I do know you have to go through the approval process here in the UK, and India's own processes.

And you will need a lot of money.

The IAC Centre seems to be the most well known agency.

I know someone who adopted from abroad. Done through the local authority and had to pay for assessments etc.

Worth contacting the Intercountry Adoption Centre and attending their initial information day. You'd need to complete the assessment process here and then be matched with a child in India. This could take around 3 years. I adopted from India some time ago. IAC should be able to put you in touch with recent adopters
