We bought our children home today 😁😍 2 weeks easier than planned due to a fostering team cock up but hey we get our first family Christmas

Can't stop staring at the baby monitor 😂

Slept great first night, not so great last night but now appears our youngest has chicken pox 😫 😫

Send gin and chocolate...

So many kids get sick at placement - I think all the disruption screws with their immune system. Deep breaths, you can do this.

Agree with Jellycatspyjamas All our children came down with various bugs shortly after placement except one (RIP my lovely) who came from a children's home, he was fine but the rest of us came down with a vile virus. Hope everyone has a brilliant Christmas!

It was fabulous, kids had a whale of a time although youngest was grizzly due to chicken pox and oldest had a little meltdown in the afternoon due to being overwhelmed but they had a good day.

We also had an amazing day topped off by me unwrapping this 🥰😍

Not sure how we're going to beat this year for amazing ness now 😂
