Sitting on an adoption panel

Hello all, I know from reading posts on here that there are some people who sit on adoption panels. I'm very interested in doing this (professional experience and interest as opposed to direct personal experience of adoption). Any good places to start looking/ thinking about this would be so appreciated! Thank you x

Panels tend to be made up of social workers, medical staff, people who have adopted and those who have been adopted. I would probably contact your local adoption team and ask them their process for sitting on panels
