So me and my other half have been filling in our ROI. The two family references are easily chosen. But for our other two that know us both as a couple we’re struggling as COVID meant we we’re only really able to get to know each other’s friends for a year or so and then obviously we’ve pretty much been locked down the rest of our relationship. And we struggle to find time to spend with our friends as it is due to everyone having busy lives.
The one person that does know us both really well is struggling to get her head round the idea of us adopting. It’s been 6 months since I told her our plans and with the only real obstacle to a birth child being the fact that my other half has had a vasectomy, she has been very vocal about the fact that he should have reversal and we should try naturally to conceive.
My other choice is my other best friend who I’ve known for 15 years and has met OH a few times, she has also recently been approved as an adopter so has been an amazing support so far and I know we will spend a lot of time with them in the future as friends having gone through similar.
