Adoption gift for 3 yo

Hi - my friend has an 8 or 9 year old DD (can't remember!!) and has just adopted a second DD who has just turned 3. I want to get them a gift that includes both girls and thought it might be nice to get a family game they could play together - does anyone have any recommendations for something that might suit those ages? I'm struggling to think what the 3 yo will be able to manage that the older DD wouldn't be bored by.

If that's a bad idea, any alternative gift suggestions for around £15?

Thanks!

Maybe giant bubbles? Or a disco ball and some fun music they might enjoy together dancing??

Bubbles, My little one loves them more than anything. Maybe a bubble kit with sticks and strings as this would be more fun for the 9 year old and the 3 year old will love massive bubbles.

oo or a bubble machine!

Charades for kids is a lovely game they could both play!

cranium games hullabaloo would work I think.
My DDs used to enjoy it. Might be too expensive.

Pump action water pistols as they are really easy to refill from a bucket.

Pie face.

Sleepy sloth game from orchard toys my 3 year old loves it and his 8 year old cousin loves playing it with him def more aimed at younger one but fun anyway and has older one cracking up and prompting little one!
