I am wondering how to obtain an adoption record. Is there ways around this at all?? Thanks.

could you clarify - are you adopted and is it your own adoption record you are trying to access? or are you trying to get access to soemone elses?

which coubnrty do you live in - they have different rules / procedures

you can request to see your childhood file held in social services and you should receive counselling and preperation before you view it. You need to write to the social services that dealt with you and your birth family.
