Timescales for court

Anyone any idea of timescales for court hearings at the moment. Our daughter's birth father has applied to the court for an intermediary to be appointed but I'm not sure how long this would normally take. This is for the adoption order. This is Manchester family court. Thank you 🙏

We waited 6 months last year & was granted at the 1st hearing. Our friends took 12 months during the same time but birth parents fought it at every stage. We even had the same judge but our cases were done very differently.
Unfortunately it really is a piece of string.
