Can anyone tell me how to go about getting a support plan for my adopted son in high school in Scotland please?

If he’s over 12 he has a right to request assessment himself (and of course you as his parent have that right). A coordinated support plan needs at least two agencies involved, eg health, education, social work otherwise a single agency plan called an individual education plan should be put in place. Your starting point is the school, either pastoral care or head of year. Email or write asking them to undertake an assessment for your child for a coordinated support plan (use those words or they’ll wriggle).

Enquire have some excellent resources for parents of kids with ASN in Scotland. Good luck 🤞
