I find it so much easier to take in information from Videos and Podcasts where I can take notes as they talk.
Rather than books...
Ive a list of books as long as my arm to read - struggling...

And ive randomly been watching things on youtube - can anyone recommend anything for our Learning Log that I can watch/listen to.
Thank you.

Aimee Vlog and Molly Mama adopt on youtube
The Window of Tolerance Animation by Beacon House on youtube
The Repair of Early Trauma: A Bottom Up Approach on youtube
And the Adoption UK webinars are amazing, theres over 100 to watch.
But do keep on with the books too!

Highly recommend The Adoption and Fostering podcast. You'll find them on twitter under the same name too.

Yes I would absolutely recommend the adoption and fostering podcast. They discuss very relevant issues. I would steer clear of the mummy vlogger types on YouTube. They don't always paint the most realistic picture. The bbc did a podcast a few years ago called the adoption which is also very good. I'd also recommend signing up to adoption uk as their monthly magazine for members is fantastic.

creatingafamily.org is an American radio show/podcast. The host is an adopter herself and an author of a book on international adoption. She interviews adoption specialists like Dan Hughes, Bruce Perry, Karyn Purvis etc. The content is evidence based, the topics are explained well and they give lots of practical tips. Not everything that is discussed is relevant to the UK, but most is. You can download the shows for free. They also currently offer free webinars on adoption related topics.

futurelearn.com runs good online courses for free on children and trauma, maltreatment, etc.
