Court paperwork after final hearing

We have our final hearing this week and it's likely to go in our favour as neither of the birth families have responded. They may still do during the 21 days following the court's decision but it looks unlikely given the lack of response.
We were wondering how long it takes for the paperwork to come through from family court. Also does the Registry Office automatically issue the new birth certificate or if will we have to apply for one with the court's paperwork? Does anyone know how long all of this will approximately take? I seem to remember 7 weeks?

will be given paperwork at hearing or shortly after may have too chase up. Then send off too SOUTHPORT send and ask for how many copy's of short and full BIRTH Certificates you require with correct fee's. Think Southport is still registration centre for adoptions.

All of that happens pretty automatically, as far as I recall. The thing to watch out for is NHS number related issues- especially if you're already in the system for anything. That should happen automatically, but often doesn't, and easily goes wrong. They locked one DC's old records, but transferred no info across, when they had ongoing appointments- right pita.
