Resources for friends and family

We are going to panel in March and I’m considering what resources to share with our close friends and family to help them understand more about adoption. We’ve obviously watched and listened to a lot of information but I wondered if people had ideas of things particularly helpful to share with others

There's a book called Related by Adoption, not at all a long read. It might be a bit simplistic for anyone who is already completely on board/has done a little reading already, but could be a good starting point.

Our local authority has provided training sessions for friends and family, worth asking you social worker?

Yes I did ask and they said they had done it before but really needed more people to ask so they could push to put it on again. They have merged with another region now though. So good point, I’ll ask again
