Saw the new year in with the boy, him on the Kopperberg, me on the wine. Watching Jools Holland as usual but all a bit surreal.

Thank you all for your support through this tricky year. You don’t know how much this forum has helped me. I don’t often post but in my trickiest moments, I’ve realised I’m not alone. May I become a better parent to my beautiful children and may we have health and happiness and a hug from our loved ones this year.

Happy new year to all! Wishing everyone a calm and fun year. So far, youngest DC has been levered away from the telly, and is actually playing nicely without picking a fight with sibs while I drink coffee (rare). Oldest DC is still asleep. Starting the year as I wish it to go on!

Happy New Year, one and all; I sincerely hope that 2021 continues to bring us those cherished small moments that remind us why we have committed to being the most loving and therapeutic families we can be, whatever ‘shape’ that looks like.

We were blessed last night with the most amazing and unexpected firework display from a nearby hillside village - it felt like a joyous precursor to a new chapter.

Happy new year to you lovely people, it can not be worse than 2020 . Also thankyou for all your support when our beautiful boy died xx
