Because of everything we have both been at home since placement and LO has been with at least one of us almost all the time (one time his grandma took him to the park for an hour and another time we went out to eat but that was after he had already gone to bed.) but tomorrow we're hoping to leave him with a friend for a playdate. 2 reasons partly because we're starting to think/prep for nursery and also because we really need some time alone together!! We're losing it 🤪

This friend has a daughter the same age and they're good buddies, we do regular meet ups at their house and the park so he knows them all well and is familiar with their house.

I think he'll be okay but I'm quite nervous! Idk I just needed to get this out! I hope it'll be alright!

We're planning to leave him to play for around 90 minutes, then get McDonald's and eat it in bed.

That’s a huge step but possibly a bigger one for you than him - I hope you really enjoy every second of your child free time.

I had to have a breast exam when little one was three. I left him with the lady who became his Godmother.

When we arrived at her house he was a bit nervous and I just focussed on a small toy she had that he liked 'Oh look, the little bug thing is here, you like that.' Off he went to play with the bug and he was fine.

Enjoy your McDonald's.

Thanks
