We're approved! The wait begins..

I know nobody cares, but I posted here back in February when we first started looking at agencies (and quite a few times since) and i'm happy to report that despite my worries at first....WE'RE UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED! Yippee. We've received our ADM ratification as well yesterday so we're all official.

I am trying very, VERY hard not to get too excited as I know we've got a long road ahead yet, but crossing my fingers for a quick match.

Congratulations op. That's great news. We wanted to adopt but husbands job makes it more complicated and now we are getting to a point where I'm not sure we have the energy. It would have been older kids not younger.

Congratulations- it’s a fantastic feeling to know you’re approved, the waiting isn’t easy (I found this part of the process the hardest). Enjoy your freedom while you wait - as far as possible in the current climate.

Congratulations. Do let yourself get excited. You’re fully entitled to. Make the most of the time you and your partner have as a couple before your little one arrives. Hopefully you won’t wait too long for a match.

Congratulations how exciting.. we also were approved the 15th of October so we join you in the wait... I’m making and buying all the bits we can that we don’t need to know age and gender for.. thermometers, monitors, wash bits, changing bag etc.. 🎉👏🏻

Congratulations! I’ve just realised - 13 years in ( as a single adopter of two) - that I’m not sure if I was ever told I was approved ‘unanimously’. Is this a new thing? Maybe my panel wasn’t ‘unanimous’ , in which case it will give me warm thoughts tonight thinking that I’ve proven the naysayers wrong (touch wood)! 😀 Seriously, OP, enjoy your moment of sunshine and kudos to your agency for taking you through the process so quickly, especially in these uncertain times.

Our agency couldn't have been better, they've been so helpful and accomodating and i'll be advocating for them to anybody local who is looking into their options.

I've bought pretty much everything I can buy without knowing anything about kiddo. I figured anything I have bought I don't end up needing I can donate to local women's shelters.

We've got a review appointment booked in for during the first fortnight of this month so i'm praying and hoping that there's a reason for this and just a general touching base.
