Adoption hearings and coronavirus

Hi, I am wondering if anyone here has had ongoing adoption court hearings cancelled or postponed due to the current situation (particularly final hearings, which should not last more than 30 minutes). Our SW not particularly helpful on this. Many thanks!

Not personally, but I know a family who have had their final hearing delayed - new date given for September apparently.

Hi. Our LO’s final adoption hearing was last week. They did it by telephone link, and it was granted.

Our social worker said if it had been the first hearing they would have postponed, but they are trying to conclude ones already in progress where they can.

Thanks for the update and congratulations on the granting of the AO! There seems to be lots of divergent practice across the country around this. Some people have had their final hearings postponed indefinitely ...

Our final AO postponed indefinitely. No mention at all of any dates and hard to get any sense out of anyone.
