I've been on mumsnet for yonks and started lurking on the adoption board when I was considering taking that route. I've always been moved by the poster called DarkRiver and I've noticed she's disappeared. Just wondering if she's ok? If anyone knows?

I haven’t seen her around either. I have been wondering the same thing so hopefully she is okay.

I hope so to. I know @OurChristmasMiracle you two communicated a lot and I assumed perhaps you were now doing this privately. @OurChristmasMiraclemiracle and dark river you are often on my mind as I have so much respect for you.

@Thepinklady77 thank you that means a lot. Unfortunately outside of Mumsnet I don’t have communication with dark river but she has been on my mind a lot and I do hope she is okay.

I so hope she's ok. From memory I think the last time she posted was just after she'd been to view photos.

Thank you both. The thought is much appreciated. Mother’s Day is always going to be hard and filled with a whole array of emotions for me, not only because my son isn’t with me but because I’ve also lost my own mum. I’ve had some lovely supportive messages this morning from some very close friends and that has helped a lot.
