Where to start?

Hi,
Looking for some advice - we want to adopt, but are not sure where to start.
Do we choose LA or another company?
We're not sure if we want to adopt 1 or 2 children at the same time ? Is this something we could discuss with SW or do we need to make our mind up beforehand?
Has anyone any experience on time scales too?
I know we have so much to learn :) thanks

@Pinkroseuk Hi, exciting times for you! You certainly do not have to make up your mind on numbers, age of children yet. In fact going into this quite open minded is a plus.
Have a look at your own Local Authority and neighbouring authorities. Some LA have teamed up to form Consortiums like in the area I live in.
You can choose to go with another adoption agency if you wish. Have a look at what is available reasonably local to you.
Then maybe contact a few and get along to the information events to help you make a decision. 😊
