Hey everyone!
I'm just wondering what your time frame was between approval at link panel- starting introductions and the child/ren moving in?
Thank you!

In our case it was two weeks between matching panel and 7 days of introductions, with the children moving in with us on the 7th day.

approval at link panel then about three weeks before starting introductions and then child moved in 8 days later.

Matching Panel approved, then ADM signed it off 10 days later, and intros started the day after that. Then LO came home 6 days later

It depends, some LAs have a separate linking and matching process (more common in Scotland IME - are you north of the border). If it’s a linking panel, you’ll likely have a number of meeting post panel eg with foster carers, paediatrician etc which can be planned in advance and done relatively quickly. Where there’s a separate linking panel and subsequent matching panel, the child usually moves in a few weeks after matching so it depends on what’s happening after linking and timescales there but generally speaking it can be 6/8 weeks.

If by linking you mean matching panel, 3-4 after panel is usual, though there’s usually some wiggle room in there.

We had known about the match a little while before matching panel which was organised fairly last minute. But ours was about 3ws before introductions started. For a 13m baby we had a week's intros before him coming home x

From being linked to matching panel it took ages for me - almost 3 months. Had matching panel on Wednesday, intros started the following Monday and he was home a week later
