I don't want to tempt fate.

  1. DD1 has just started a new job, having been looking/unemployed since end August and prior to that 3 months temp work after 9months unable to work due to back problems. The last 4 years have been a rollercoaster, fingers crossed this goes OK.

  2. DD2's y10 report, every subject has predicted grade of 4 (which is a pass Smile) except for 2 which are 5s (which are better passes). If she gets that in the real thing, I'd be delighted. She was prem and assessed as globally developmentally delayed at 18 months, 'uncertain outcome' when we adopted her at 30 months. Various learning issues but tries really hard. This is the first time English has been predicted on the right side of the 3-4 borderline. Grin

Merry Christmas, to recent adopters and longer term ones, and also to the brave birth parents who post on here too.
