Giving up a baby

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong page.

I have recently found out I am pregnant and feel adoption is right for me.

I would just like to know what agencies would be best to join. Also I am Muslim and would want the baby to go to a Muslim family due to faith reasons. This is something I feel strongly about. However the baby's father is white, so the baby will be mixed race.

Are there any Muslim adoption agencies. Thank you x

Hi Friendsfan
This is the right place.
I believe that in most cases the LA will try to place a child which matches his culture inheritance.

Does the child's father agree with you regarding your plans. It maybe difficult process if Dad doesn't give permission.

I would try to contact a local authority.

Good Luck

Suggest you contact your local Family nurse partnership who will be able too advise on ALL possible options prior too contacting social services, they are very good and will provide a good 3rd party advocacy for you www.fnp.nhs.uk
Wish you all the best
