Introductions - day two

So, we have done two days of intros. They have both gone well.
I hadn't got a clear idea in my head of what intros were like - in my "nightmares" there would be lots of SW sitting around on sofas whilst we try to amuse a child on the carpet and they all suck through their teeth..

I was so pleased to find that the child's SW visited for the first half hour or so, and then it is just us, our (lovely) FC and the child.

Can't quite believe we are at this point, but then it seems a lifetime since we filled in our registration of interest.

Moving day next Thursday so 10 days in total Inc weekends. Early start today to do breakfasts

We have the weekend to do as well. Lovely time but save up your money for being out and about :)

We've been given a draft plan so we know what to expect. It's quite good & we're not going to be at FCs all day every day which I think is also a good step; slow and steady wins the race, LO is only small.

A friend went through intros about 6 or 7 weeks ago & it was 15 hour days for 10 days although, her LO was a lot older

Introductions is such a strange mix. Our FC are ace, but I still want them to be over IYSWIM.

It is a strange bubble - even though we are at home each day (FC 30 miles away).
