Advice on sure start grant please💙

Has anyone else applied for it? (sure start matirnity grant) I sent off an application last week and I got a text yesterday saying we have received your claim and will be Intouch in 21 days im confused because I thought you got letter with the decision can anyone help??

It's been about six years since I applied. I believe they text me and followed u with a letter.

Its fairly standard practice now to acknowledge receipt of applications by text and give timescale for response. So they will be in touch in 21 days with the decision
