I didn't realise how worried I was about little one starting school in September until recently.
Her new school has listened to Preschool and put in place 1:1 for the whole school day already. She's met them and is excited. Her EHCP assessment is in process but she's getting this whether or not the funding comes through because it's obvious to them she needs it.
She'll be allowed to miss assembly if she can't cope, be supervised at break and lunchtime. They've been on attachment courses and read up on fasd so have already said they understand traditional behaviour approaches might not work.
Feeling so lucky to have found a genuinely inclusive school.
