What happens after RIF?

Hello we have just sent in our RIF. I know they have two months to check out all our references etc. Will we hear from them at all or should we just forget about it for the next two months?

I would contact them to ask. We waited about a month after sending in our information and then I contacted them and found out that they had lost it and we had to do it again...!

I would leave it a week if you don't get a reply then call and say something like: "I'm so sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you got our RIF and if you could possibly let me know next steps?"

Thanks for your reply. I will check in next Monday to ensure they got everything. I am so impatient. I know that doesnt bode well!

We sent ours in and about a week letter heard back from our SW who gave us the dates she would have the references sent out by and she left us with our profiles to work on in the meantime. My employer told me yesterday he has received and returned his form but family and friends haven't received theirs yet but they should have them all by the end of the week which is two weeks after we sent in our form. I've no patience either but i'm finding having the profile to work on is helping. Good luck. X

So they contacted me on Friday as I had left one address off the form,doh! At least I know they have it and are looking at it. Will leave it another week and then check in again.

We have just been invited to Stage 1 training day. Not much notice, it is an all fay course in two weeks! What happens on this day?
