How many people are approved and awaiting placements?

We got approved end of March and waiting for an addition to our family, I know the waiting can be frustrating, but trying to put it to the back of my mind as much as possible, I did speak to sw recently who said that they had moved offices and thats taken a month!, which has delayed things.

Just wandered how amny more people waiting and how long they have been waiting for.

Just me then lol

Not waiting, or adopting, but just wanted to wish you good luck.

weve jsut decided not to proceed any further, but wishing you the best of luck, hoping you get your fantastic new addition very soon.

hertsnessex, Can I ask why you ahev decided this.

i ask as dh and I started the process about 4 years ago and got down the line and decided not to proceed as seemed daunting, wanting to contact dh's ex-wife etc etc. We didn't proceed but 18 months later the feelings were still there so we started up again.

Hi april74, what age are you hoping to adopt.
I'm a foster carer to newborns who usually go for adoption so just curious.

it just didnt feel right having a third child at this point. i cant see us re-evaluating it any time soon, we are lucky to have the two we have got.

just read your post flower - i would love to foster newborns and have been looking tinto this but didnt know if there was a way i can specify newborns only. is there?
