Letterbox due next month haven't had a reminder.

Obviously the time is stamped clearly in my mind of when letterbox is due but I am anxious I am not going to get it next month as there has been issues with the adoption order. (Nothing I have done but I have had no update regarding the situation since Feb)

With Afteradoption going under its seemingly impossible to communicate and find what is going on.

I am not sure how to approach this. I am struggling so much at the moment and getting an update seems to be the only thing keeping me together.

I was considering trying to contact the LA adoption service tomorrow but wondering if it was to soon and maybe I should wait.

darkriver19886 we no longer get reminders but then it has been a few years. If you want to contact them do.

We have never received a reminder for ours, but we do still remember and write each time. Is it typical for reminders to be sent.

It says on the website they send reminders a couple of weeks before. May is next week. I will wait until Monday and then give them a call.

darkriver I tend to send the social worker an email saying “hi hope you are well. I am aware contact is due on or around x date so just wanted to confirm that my address/phone number/email is xxxxxx please could you let me know when it arrives”

This serves as a reminder to the person dealing with it that it is due.
