Initial Visit

Well today we had out initial visit from the SW! I'd say it went pretty well and we are feeling positive. She is putting us forward for Prep Groups for October hopefully but we need early medicals due to previous health issues. Excited and a bit scared!

Congrats, sounds positive. I have my pre stage 1 visit next week. What can I expect? She said she will be here for about 3 hours!

Is it going through all the forms?

Hi FilthyforFirth. Our visit was about an hour and a half. It was very informal and laid back. She asked us some questions about why we want to adopt and then explained the process. I showed her around the house and she pointed out a couple of health and safety issues that we would need to address further down the line (I have an open staircase). Good luck

I know from the information evening there are a load of forms. I have spent today writing down all my addesses from 18 as I had loads from uni onwards!
