Something just popped up on another page I follow about this, but I'm still confused so thought I would ask here.

Our LO has been with us since April, he will be 1 in 2 weeks.

Is he entitled to a Child Trust Fund or Junior ISA, which has a government contribution?

Does anyone know where I can call/email to find out - if you lovely lot don't know!

I know my son had an ISA that his foster carer had for him (which she said she was required to do) and then when the adoption order came through we received a letter about a separate ISA that the government had contributed £200 to because he had been in care for more than 12 months. So assuming the adoption order hasn't gone through yet, and your DC is still a LAC, they should have one and you should receive the details once the AO goes through Smile

Yes, as a looked after child, he will have this. Ours came via our social worker once the order was granted.

Ah cool, I did wonder if we would get notified when the AO goes through. The paperwork is in, just waiting on a court date, but he'll be older than 1 by then.
