It is letterbox month. The contact number I have for the LA had gone unanswered.
I got an email on Friday from an address that wasn't the LA but from what I gather merger of adoption teams. Not about letterbox. No. An email basically saying they'd been looking at my birth son's file and noticed I'd mentioned medication allergies pre AO but no details - could I provide details but not to worry because he's doing well. He was placed with his family over 3 flipping years ago!!!! In LA care from birth 4.5 years ago.
So not only is letterbox now running late, information has been lost and I'm uncomfortable with the data protection (or the lack of it) but by NOT making sure they had this info (they have had it, I've even still got emails about it) they have placed a little boy at risk.
Sorry for the rant. It just feels like I did my absolute best to give them everything he may need in future and they can't even keep it safe. Never mind the fact that his family were probably assuming I just wasn't responding to letterbox.
