Present ideas for siblings

Hi all. We are going to panel next week (eeek!) and SW have talked about presents for the two little ones we are adopting to give to their birth siblings who will be staying under SGO with family members. They have mentioned us exchanging “keys” as “keys to my heart” for their later years.

I’m still thinking this through but wondered if anyone else has done something similar or had other ideas?

How about a build a bear? They can record a message to go inside.

You can get talking books where you record a piece for each page, pictures of them perhaps?

Mine exchanged bears, as in cuddly toy bears. They both love them even now and remember getting them.

Tricky one to navigate, so if you feel you want to go with something less emotionally loaded, I'd go with your gut. How about a handprint in a frame? Otherwise I'd probably go for soft toys of some kind.

What are people’s thoughts on a parting gift from ac to foster carers child ? Is that just complicating things ? Unessacary ?
