Right- single adopter here. Going to matching panel in 2 weeks and I'm beginning to get really nervous!!! Can anyone give me any ideas on questions they might ask or anything I should do some extra reading up on. Thanks xox

probably support network, finances, adoption leave and why this child, how will you support them, do you understand their needs

As ted said. Also... what would happen to child if something happened to you (ie do you have guardian in place, why them, would they commit to giving up work for a while too if they had to step in). How do you intend to keep child aware of their story. Do you intend to keep the name.

Just recently been to matching panel so its very fresh in my memory. They asked 'why these children', how we would deal with an emergency, our understanding of the uncertainty of the LOs futures, how we would cope if they initially reject one or both of us and our understanding of the importance of funnelling before involving our support network. We were nervous ours too but it was honestly a lovely experience. Hope it goes well 💐
