We have a panel date

All our stage 2 meetings are booked, with 3 days training. We have a panel date in November - which will be almost a year to the day since our first SW visited our house.

Seems strange to be wishing for autumnal weather whilst we are having this lovely summer!

Excellent. Ours was almost exactly a year from first interview to panel.

Had an SW visit today. You know how it is, you count down for a week or so, do all the cleaning etc, then, for whatever reason, things don't to according to plan - and you seem to move backwards.

Don't really want to say much else - other than to say I find it bloody hard to deal with all these setbacks..

I think we will still get there, but (only slightly tongue in cheek) hope our marriage lasts that long :):)

Try and take it all in your stride. Find lots of other fun things to do at other times.

Hi @topcat2014 - I wondered how all was going? Have just had stage one report and booked in for stage 2 workshops in August. Trying to get house in order and keep myself busy x

@Dlouise2004 - we missed the July workshops, as the last day is on next Saturday when we go on holiday.

Our LA don't do August ones, so we are booked for September.

Decorating the bedroom at the moment.

DW has had a 121 meeting with SW, mine is booked in. DW has also had her childcare 'observation' done, mine is Sept when Beavers starts up again.

So, not much happening till then, and of course trying not to wish the summer away :)

That's good all is booked in @topcat2014. I am currently on a decluttering mission so we can then decorate our spare rooms. Is a shame am not in the sun but am excited that we are moving forward- think my hubby tho is I have gone mental as being super productive! Looking forward to the workshop in August and then assigned social worker. We have been told there may be a wait being assigned so hoping it's not too long x
