Spitting

Ah! So one behaviour when our son is completely dysregulated is spitting. This seems to have become worse and we have had a massive spitting and violence episode tonight. Any advice for the spitting. Trying to keep the PACE but the spitting is horrible. He spat at his sibling too :(. Thanks everyone.

How old is the child?

I think I'd probably treat spitting like any other anti social behaviour.

Praise the good and maybe do a little reward chart for not spitting. But long term there may need to be consequences if it continues.
