More wondering than for myself - when you do the finance paperwork and submit your outgoings etc, are you ever checked again?

Only once a year when they check we are still eligible for adoption allowance. But no, as part of the assessment process (VA 3 years ago) the sw just looked at everything once. So if you don’t get AA then I would imagine that is it.

Adoption allowance, a pretty rare beast in the current financial climate.

No we were checked the once and never again.

We wrote everything on a spreadsheet during assessment, it was never checked and they took our word for it that we were solvent ☺️

I had to do finance grids for the registration of interest and then nothing was said about it until near the end of stage two when they asked to see bank statements. I had not managed to save up as much money as I had predicted in the grids and felt a bit anxious but nothing was said of it.
