International adopted children - returning to the uk

Hi I'm new to the group apologies if my question is already answered somewhere

I'm interested to know if anyone in the group has adopted children internationally and if they've been able to return to the uk with their children.

Our two children have 5 year multi entry uk visit visas but I've been advised we need further documents/authorisations before we can legally enter the uk

Is there anyone who can help on this??

How long have they been living with you ?
Do you have a local adoption order and is it a Hague convention country? Which country approved you to adopt ?
How did you get British visas and what did the British embassy advise ?
