Final Hearing

Ours is a morning time on Friday. Will the court let us know that day?
I cant imagine going all weekend not knowing.

Anyone give advice? :)

My social worker rang to tell us the minute she left the court. Paperwork turned up a few days later.

Our social worker also rang us the minute it was over. Hope you don't have to wait too long. Good luck Smile

I got an email from the SW a week later.... However I phoned the court myself the next day so already knew!

My SW said that LO SW doesn't attend , however I'm gonna email her and confirm. Will also ask her to tell me as soon as she can. If not I'm ringing court. I shouldn't have to wait over the weekend surely. Its a massive thing in the process i feel, like the end so to speak

Bloody hell, SWs who attend court and tell you stuff without being asked!

We phoned on the morning to find out the time, and then every 10 min from about an hour after the case was heard. It had been a long wait :-)

Both times I had to tell our SW.

LO did not attend however we rang ourself and found out late afternoon the adoption order was GRANTED :)

Just awaiting celebration day tba. :)

Ours happened just before Christmas, and then court was closed; SW was uncontactable, and we found out from the papers which arrived just after new year!

MyDogEatsBalloons Oh god i would of been going crazy . Obviously the proceedings went on over the xmas period for us which probably delayed things by a week or two, but I'm so glad the final hearing was after because of your situation alike yours.

At least its almost over now. Just the celebration day to do
