I met my children today

Just that really!

My brain is so fizzy! When we applied last year we never thought we'd be here already. We have had these children in our hearts and minds for the last 6 months (SWs work slowly!) and I feel like I've been wishing my life away until today.
Wow. Just wow.

Today was "soft intros" - proper thing starts next week for just over a week.

It was amazing. Lots of cuddles, and one of them running about after DH shouting, "Daddy, Daddy" nearly had me in tears!

Ah wow congratulations! I burst into tears about a minute after I walked into the foster carers house the first time, I hid in the hall with her a minute to compose myself, it was the start of "the year of tears" 😀 I was so happy everything and anything set me off, I'm not much better now 13 months on!

Enjoy every moment and take lots of pics as it flys by in a big blur.

Take care of yourselves, it's exhausting, amazing and terrifying in equal measure!!!!
